Kenneth R Rothe, P.E.

Founding Partner and President

Mr. Rothe is instrumental in developing CDS Muerys’ strong reputation for engineering services and establishing long-term relationships among our clients in both the public and private sectors. His extensive experience and leadership skills that comes from a professional career spanning over 30 years has been and continues to be a significant influence in the consistency of quality of work and exemplary services that are provided by CDS Muery.

Mr. Rothe serves as Principal-In-Charge, as well as engaging in hands-on management oversight of projects that he closely coordinates. His engineering experience has consisted of various large-scale projects that have included K-12 schools and sports facilities, higher education/university campuses, major overland transmission pipelines, major storm water management systems, residential subdivisions, office/retail site developments, large-diameter sanitary sewer outfalls, and runway/taxiway/apron improvements for international and general aviation airports.

John T. Kubala, R.P.L.S.

Founding Partner and Vice President

Mr. Kubala is a Principal-in-Charge and oversees a specialized division within CDS Muery serving the energy industry. He provides a complete array of surveying services requiring highly trained and experienced professional surveyors and technical staff with diverse capabilities for high-voltage electrical transmission corridors, electrical distribution networks, electric power substation sites, and renewable energy generating sites. Mr. Kubala’s division serves clients throughout Texas and six other states providing these specialty services.

As a founding principal of the company, he has remained in a valuable leadership role since the inception of CDS Muery. He is directly involved in the development of the company’s excellent reputation and its course of ongoing growth. Over his substantial years of a diverse surveying background, Mr. Kubala has managed considerably large projects that have included surveys for numerous capital improvement projects for all levels of government, expansive land boundary surveys, real estate development surveys, subdivision plats, and other various types of surveys for several multi-thousand acre ranches throughout central and south Texas.

Bill H. Ethridge, Jr., R.P.L.S

Founding Partner and Secretary/Treasurer

Mr. Ethridge possesses over three decades of traditional and advanced surveying experience and has been instrumental in establishing the broadened expertise and exceptional reputation of CDS Muery’s surveying services. As a Principal-In-Charge for CDS Muery Surveying division he has managed complex projects such as setting county and state-wide survey controls, land acquisition research and surveys for interstate and state highways, high-voltage electrical transmission route surveys, surveys required for oil/gas industry upstream facilities and infrastructure, surveys for federal and municipal hazardous waste remediation sites, and a full range of comprehensive survey services for large master planned communities.

Mr. Ethridge was one of the few pioneers who envisioned a paradigm change for surveying with High Definition Surveying (HDS)/3D Laser Scanning technology. Mr. Ethridge’s foresight of the benefit of this advanced technology positioned CDS Muery as one of the earliest professional surveying firms in Texas to fully invest in the equipment and skilled professionals to provide HDS/3D Laser Scanning as an in-house specialized survey service.
